How Prax collects, uses, and protects information when people use the service.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Trailbreak, a sole proprietorship organized under the laws of the State of Texas and operating under an assumed name certificate filed in Travis County, Texas (“Company,” “we,” “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects information in connection with the legal research platform available at prax.law (“Service”). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

If we implement account registration, we may collect information you provide such as your name, email address and professional affiliation. During the current pre-release testing phase, we may not require account creation.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address and approximate geolocation derived therefrom
  • Browser type, operating system and device identifiers
  • Pages viewed, search queries submitted and features used
  • Referring URL, access times and session duration

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (courts, agencies, law firms) from which source documents originate. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the revised Policy on the Service with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
